Introduction

In this perspective, by using local potential, comparative advantage and special opportunities, through the integrated combination and operation of the components of the overall value chain, creating long-term economic opportunities oriented towards agricultural industrialization and mechanization, expanding the area of ​​certain crops and increasing productivity, with the goal of making the subsistence agriculture system professional, competitive, sustainable and self-reliant. Also, the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Agriculture Development has implemented the Prime Minister's Agriculture Modernization Project 2073 from Shravan. This project prepared by indigenous thinking, indigenous investment and internal institutional manpower has been taken as a supporting project for the implementation of the agricultural development strategy. The idea of ​​this project is to establish agricultural profession as a dignified and respectable business by ensuring a measurable change in the direction of agricultural industrialization, including creation of employment opportunities by creating a specialized area for agricultural production, increasing the value of exportable agricultural products and marketing them.


 This project is Province No. from 2073/074. It has been started in Jumla, a hilly district in 6. In order to carry out the commercial production, marketing and processing center (Super Zone) development program of apples, which has been identified as a geographical potential of this district, the office of Project Implementation Unit, Super Zone (Apple) was established in Chandannath Municipality 6, Jumla on November 9, 2073 and in the original document of the project. As mentioned, the program is being conducted in Chandannath Municipality and Tatopani Rural Municipality.
